What interior design costs in Pakistan

Design only

Design-only fees in Pakistan usually fall between PKR 100 and 350 per square foot. That covers space planning, elevations, a material palette and joinery drawings.

It does not include construction. Clients who already have a contractor use this service to lock the design before spending on site.

Build costs by space

A single room refresh usually lands between PKR 3 and 8 lakh, depending on joinery and finishes. A full home turnkey build typically ranges from PKR 2,500 to 5,500 per square foot.

Office fit out commonly sits between PKR 2,000 and 4,500 per square foot. These are rough guidance bands, not quotes. A site visit and drawings turn them into real numbers.

What moves the number

Four things drive most of the variance. Scope, meaning how much of the space is touched. Material grade, from local laminates to imported surfaces. Joinery volume, since custom wardrobes and kitchens are labour heavy.

And site condition: civil repairs, plumbing and electrical upgrades add cost before any finishing begins. The city matters too, as labour and material rates shift between Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.
