Office Interior Design Cost in Lahore, Pakistan

By woodex

Short answer: office interior design in Lahore generally costs PKR 200–420 per square foot, or roughly PKR 150,000–350,000 per workstation once furniture, lighting, and cabling are included. A 5,000 sq ft office for 40 people typically lands between PKR 10–18 million depending on finish level and how much custom joinery (reception desks, meeting pods) is involved.

Why office costs vary so much

The single biggest swing factor is HVAC and electrical capacity. A shell office with adequate power and cooling already roughed in costs far less to fit out than a building that needs new circuits run for a denser desk layout. The second biggest factor is acoustic treatment — open-plan offices that skip it end up expensive to fix later, since retrofitting acoustic panelling around existing furniture and cabling is slower than building it in from day one.

What we saw on a recent Gulberg office project

On a 3,200 sq ft office walkthrough we produced for a Gulberg-based client, the brief was a generic rented shell that felt disconnected from the brand and was acoustically poor for client calls. We rebuilt the scheme around a layered lighting plan, added targeted acoustic treatment in meeting zones only (rather than the whole floor, which kept the budget sane), and used our in-house 3D Studio to walk the client through the finished space before a single wall came down — that review caught a reception-desk sightline problem that would have been expensive to fix after installation.

Local planning considerations

Power backup matters more in Lahore office design than almost anywhere else — every proposal we write accounts for UPS/generator switchover for critical circuits (server rooms, meeting-room AV) separately from general lighting, since load-shedding schedules can otherwise take down a client presentation mid-meeting. We also spec finishes that tolerate dust and frequent cleaning without showing wear, since Lahore’s air quality is harder on soft furnishings than most imported spec sheets assume.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an office fit-out take?

A typical 3,000–5,000 sq ft office runs 8–12 weeks from signed concept to move-in, assuming no major structural changes.

Do you work around an operating business?

Yes — we phase work by zone where possible so teams can keep working, though this typically adds 15–20% to the timeline.

Is 3D visualization worth it for a smaller office?

Even under 2,000 sq ft, it’s usually worth it for layout sign-off alone — catching a bad sightline or bottleneck on screen is far cheaper than after installation.
